Taylor is a town in Navajo Region, Arizona, USA. It was founded by Mormon settlers (James Pearce) in January 1878, several months before the bordering area of Snowflake, Arizona. Taylor straddles Silver Creek, moving from the nearby White Mountains to the Little Colorado River on Arizona’s Colorado Plateau. Inning accordance with the 2010 demographics, the populace of the community is 4,112.

Taylor lies in a broad valley in east-central Arizona at an elevation of 5,640 feet with the Mogollon Rim to its west as well as the White Mountains to the south. The mountains form a virtually continuous obstacle protecting Taylor from severe wintertimes and producing a semi-arid environment. The Community of Taylor, named after John Taylor, the 3rd head of state of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, was cleared up by James Pearce in 1878 and later on integrated in 1966.
